Plitvice National Parks Croatia

I have attempted two pilgrimages to Plitvice in my life. The first was dramatically unsuccessful and I didn't make it within two hours of the place. The second time, as you can see we made it happen. However the park, which is known for its waterfalls, was flooded. The beauty of this was that we were wandering the park almost alone, when apparently its usually covered in tourists.

Missing all of these beautiful summer sunsets, and more than anything missing being on holiday with zero responsibilities.

Dubrovnik from Above

The walls of Dubrovnik have witnessed history, they are filled with secrets and disaster. This city has been bombed recently, within the lifetimes of many of the people living there now, and yet it still looks so beautiful. As the sun sets the city seems to glow.
